EU Organic Certification ensures that food and agricultural products adhere to the European Union’s strict organic standards. These standards govern all aspects of organic production, including farming practices, processing, labeling, and imports. The certification promotes environmental sustainability, biodiversity, animal welfare, and soil health. It also ensures full traceability across the supply chain. Certified products can display the EU Organic logo, which assures consumers of authenticity and compliance. This certification allows products to be legally marketed as organic throughout the EU
Categories of EU Organic Certification
TAGC, in partnership with STC, facilitates EU Organic Certification for the following categories:
Category D – Processed Organic Food Products

This category covers products that have been manufactured or processed using certified organic ingredients. It includes packaged foods, beverages, canned items, and other value-added products intended for human consumption. To qualify, both the ingredients and the processing methods must comply with EU Regulation 2018/848, ensuring traceability, clean-label formulation, and organic integrity from source to shelf.
Examples include: Organic Spices, Cereal and their derivatives, ready-to-eat meals, cold-pressed oils, herbal teas and other processed foods.
