  • This category covers raw agricultural (crop) products grown on land free from prohibited substances for three years prior to harvest Examples All agricultural, horticultural and plantation crops like cereals, millets, pulses, oilseeds, fibre crops, sugarcane, fresh fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee, cocoa, coconut etc.
Processing and Handling
  • • This category covers products that have been manufactured or processed through organically acceptable processes, using certified organic ingredients. It includes packaged foods, beverages, canned items, and other value-added products intended for human consumption. To qualify, both the ingredients and the processing methods must comply with NOP Regulation, ensuring traceability, clean-label formulation, and organic integrity from source to shelf.

    Examples include: Organic Spices, Cereal and their derivatives, ready-to-eat meals, cold-pressed oils, herbal teas and other processed foods.
